Shortly after pigs, the goats were among the first animals we added to the farm. There has been a lot of turnover in the herd as we transition to a meat producing operation.

Aphrodite was brought to the farm as a doeling way back in 2017. She has given us many great kids. She is a Lamancha goat- a dairy breed distinguished by their nearly-nonexistent ears. Even as we transition to meat breeds, we decided to retain her because of her track record of producing nice big-bodied kids.

We added Kiko does recently. Kikos are known for their excellent disease resistance and hardiness. We’re looking forward to seeing what these two bring to our operation.
